These are some worship moves that you might recognize in the middle of worship, either it be at church or in youth group! I wonder if you can spot them all.
1. Worship Eagle- you throw your arms wide open to your sides as if spreading your wings like an eagle. It’s like surrendering completely to God in the middle of worship!
2. Pillar of Worship- your hands go straight up as if you’re a pillar! It’s like reaching out to God!
3. Victory Stomp- you reache towards Heaven with one hand open, and the other one is a fist, next to your heart. You straighten out your back leg, and with your front leg sliightly bent, you stomp with your heel to the beat of the music!
I’ll post more later!
God bless!
Last night at Praise and Worship practice (P&W is what I call it), we transitioned from I will Bless the Lord At All Times, to Blessed Be Your Name. (We don’t really practice, we praise and worship. We practice a little, but then we worship)
It felt great blending the to songs together since I WIll Bless The Lord is a slow song and Blessed Be Your Name is more upbeat the way we praise. And in the middle of the song, after singing the chorus a numerous times, one of the worship singers did the Worship Eagle.
Now, many might know this move, but not know the name of it. It’s when a worship leader is engoulfed by the Holy Spirit and instead of putting their hands forward as if to praise, or their hands up high to recieve, the arms are wide open and to the side, like the wings of an eagle. It’s a sign of giving it all to God and just letting go!
It made me smile! Too bad I didn’t have a camera to take the photo.
